SUMMER UNIFORM September 3 – October 9 and May 4 – Last Day of School

K – 5

Navy blue twill (Flynn & O’Hara) or chino (Lands’ End) walking shorts (girls may wear navy blue skorts from Flynn & O’Hara or Lands’ End); light blue golf shirt with school name (Flynn & O’Hara or Lands’ End); white sneakers; white quarter top socks (up to the ankle) or white crew socks. Cargo or “oversized” pants are not permitted.

6 – 8

Navy blue twill (Flynn & O’Hara) or chino (Lands’ End) walking shorts (girls may wear navy blue skorts from Flynn & O’Hara or Lands’ End); white golf shirt with school name (Flynn & O’Hara or Lands’ End); white sneakers; white quarter top socks (up to the ankle) or white crew socks.  Blue shirt with school name only for gym. Cargo or “oversized” pants are not permitted.

K – 8

All students may wear regular uniforms if they do not wish to wear shorts.

 

WINTER UNIFORM October 14 – May 1

K – 5 Boys

White dress shirt (long or short sleeve); plaid tie; navy blue uniform pants; navy, brown or black belt; navy cardigan (optional) with logo; dark-colored crew socks; black or brown rubber-soled shoes. Cargo or “oversized” pants are not permitted.

K – 5 Girls

Plaid uniform jumper; white, peter-pan collared, uniform blouses (long or short sleeve); navy cardigan (optional) with logo; navy knee socks or tights; navy, brown, or black rubber-soled shoes. (Navy uniform slacks may be worn with the uniform blouse from December 1st – March 31st.)

6 – 8 Boys

White golf shirt (long or short sleeve) with school name; navy blue uniform pants; navy, brown or black belt; dark-colored socks; black or brown rubber-soled shoes. OR White dress shirt; navy blue tie; navy blue uniform pants; navy, brown, or black belt; dark-colored crew socks; black or brown rubber-soled shoes. Cargo or “oversized” pants are not permitted.  Navy cardigan with school logo may be worn (optional).

8th Grade Boys

May wear pastel colored shirts with an appropriate tie of their choice.

6 – 8 Girls

White golf shirt (long or short sleeve) with school name; plaid skirt; navy blue vest with logo; navy knee socks or tights; navy, brown, or black rubber-soled shoes (heel not to exceed 2 inches in height).  OR  White blouse with a pointed or button-down collar (long or short sleeve); plaid uniform skirt; navy blue vest with logo; navy knee socks or tights; navy, brown, or black rubber-soled shoes (heel not to exceed 2 inches in height). (Navy uniform slacks may be worn with the uniform blouse from December 1st – March 31st.)  Navy cardigan with school logo (optional) may be worn in place of the vest.

8th Grade Girls

May wear pastel-colored blouses.

Mass Days

All students must wear regular uniforms (boys – ties, dress shirts, and uniform pants; girls – skirts or jumpers, blouses, and vests grades 6-8)

 

GYM UNIFORM

K – 8

Light blue golf shirt with school name; navy micromesh gym shorts; white quarter top socks or white crew socks; white, blue, or black sneakers. 

K – 8 Winter

Navy blue sweats (sweatshirt with logo) for winter (October 20 – April 30).  Sweatpants may be worn over shorts.

 
SweatersNavy cardigan or v-neck sweaters with the school logo may be worn but are optional.  No other jackets or sweaters are acceptable during the school day.
 
SweatshirtsNavy sweatshirts with the school logo may be worn only on gym days.
 
ShoesPractical, dark-color shoes, oxford or saddle type with rubber or crepe-type soles are required for safety reasons. Sandals, open-toed shoes, platforms, clogs, big heels, or sling-backs are not acceptable.
 
BootsBoots may be worn to school in inclement weather, but shoes must be worn during the school day.
 
BeltsBlack, brown, or navy belts must be worn with slacks or shorts.
 
HairGirls – Hair should be clean, styled neatly and kept in their natural color. Hair bands must be solid navy blue, white, black, or school plaid with a traditional style. Not more than 2 inches wide. Ties or fasteners may not hang down. Pony tail holders, scrunchies, barrettes, etc. must be kept simple.

Boys – Hair must be clean, neat, and traditional cut (no long hairstyles). No facial hair (beard/mustache) is allowed. Hair must be kept child’s natural color.
 
Nail PolishMay not be worn in grades K-7. Students in grades 8 may wear light shades of pink or clear nail polish.
 
Make-upEighth grade girls will be permitted to use a limited amount of make-up provided it is done in good taste. Only the following will be permitted: light shades of eye shadow, clear lip gloss, and blush in small amount. NO OTHER MAKE-UP IS ACCEPTABLE OR APPROPRIATE. The faculty may request the removal of make-up that is deemed inappropriate.
 
JewelryJewelry may be worn provided it is simple and unobtrusive. Small earrings with posts are acceptable. Hoops and dangling earrings are not permitted. No more than 2 simple bracelets. Boys may not wear earrings. Students may wear simple chains with crosses/crucifixes. Watches are acceptable.All other jewelry should be saved for special occasions.

NAMES SHOULD BE WRITTEN OR SEWN INTO EACH ARTICLE OF CLOTHING WORN TO SCHOOL.
PLEASE PUT NAMES IN/ON LUNCH BOXES.
